El Tapatio - Page: Experience Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Page, AZ

Great Mexican food, and we luckily arrived before a big dinner rush. We were able to order vegan easily enough as their menu has dedicated vegetarian options labeled. Simply remove sour cream or cheese as needed. Complimentary chips and salsa arrive at the table almost before you do, and the size of the physical menu is gigantic! It's definitely a precursor to the size of the portions!! SO MUCH FOOD! The service was very quick, and the food was good and flavorful. If I was ever in Page Arizona again, I'd probably go back! I definitely recommend!

Excellent food! I had Chili Verde and hubby had Carnitas de Puerco. They did not skimp on the pork! Both dishes were delicious. Gluten free options on the menu. We didn't have any, but they have huge Margaritas and yummy looking desserts. Very busy at 5:30 on a Monday but service was great and the food came out fast. Seems to be popular with locals and local workers. Prices were fair. Might go back again today for lunch before we leave town.

We found this Restaurant because of it’s good Reviews. The Food was very nice, because it was a very popular Restaurant, there were many guests so we had to wait quite a Long time to get a table. The Cocktails was also very nice, only the waiter couldnt wait to get US to leave as soon as we finished eating. The portions were quite big. It’s a very recommenable Place to go.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited! I am a little biased as was there for my birthday and had special treatment from the group I was travelling with, as well as the staff with a “happy birthday” song (table next to us were celebrating too!) but the staff were so lovely, the food was great and the cocktails are TO DIE FOR! The biggest margarita I’d ever seen and loads of choice in flavours for other cocktails too. Loved the atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended. Only thing that would’ve made it better would’ve been if there was a table big enough to seat our entire group together, but having said that we didn’t book in advance for ten of us, so our bad. It was busy as it’s an incredible and busy location, so I’d suggest booking.

Absolutely the most delicious Mexican food I’ve ever had! So fresh and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly, and even the water was cold and always topped off. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend!

Discovered this authentic Mexican restaurant while visiting Page, AZ with family. El Tapatio offers a variety of different Mexican dishes and even has numerous vegan and gluten-free diet options. This is a family-owned restaurant, which we learned has been a staple of the community for many years. When you enter, you will be surrounded by traditional colorful decorations, friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere. Combined, we were made to feel welcomed, and to top it all off, they serve such large, oversized, mouth-watering dishes that will make your taste buds dance in delight. Everything we ordered was simply delicious and the serve was fantastic. A special thank you goes out to Alejandro and Edgar, who made our dinner a wonderful culinary experience. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of the restaurant with access to South Lake Powell Boulevard and to the rear, South 7th Avenue.

Authentic Mexican food with great service! We had dinner at El Tapatio on our second day in Page, Arizona, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a very authentic Mexican atmosphere and offers delicious food with generous portions. The service was excellent – fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the jumbo margaritas, which were a great complement to the meal. If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine in Page, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The menu is a large book! The tacos were delicious. Each one arrives with perfectly seasoned fillings—flavorful carne asada, al pastor with nice chunks of pineapple, and quesabirria with consommé. Everything was very good but he quesabirria, with a cheese baked taco shell and a delicious consommé for dipping, was my favorite. It’s casual and cheerful, a bit kitschy but cute. Service was prompt and genuinely friendly.
